1. General provisions
S·Pika is operated by Kseniia Korotkova, an independent individual based in Serbia (the “Provider”, “we”, “us”). These Terms govern your use of spika-ai.com and the S·Pika service. For support, contact support@spika-ai.com.
Payments may be processed through Creem, acting as Merchant of Record. Creem handles payment processing and transaction-related tax obligations. S·Pika operates the Service, provides support and delivers processing results.
2. The Service
S·Pika provides automated audio transcription and document translation. The Service combines third-party technologies with S·Pika’s own post-processing.
Automated results may contain errors. You remain responsible for reviewing results where accuracy is important.
3. Your account and materials
You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity carried out through it. You may upload only materials that you have the right to upload, process and share with S·Pika and its technical service providers.
You must not use the Service for unlawful purposes or in a way that infringes the rights, privacy or confidentiality of others.
Free Start credits, promotional credits and other free offers are available once per person, unless we expressly state otherwise. You must not create or use multiple accounts, provide misleading information, use automated means or otherwise bypass limits in order to obtain additional free credits, bonuses or promotions.
You must not use the Service to commit or facilitate fraud, evade payment or security controls, interfere with the Service or another user’s access to it, attempt unauthorised access, or process materials in breach of applicable law.
4. Your content
You retain your rights in uploaded files and processing results. You grant S·Pika a limited right to process your materials only as necessary to provide the requested Service, maintain security and comply with legal obligations.
5. Credits and charges
Credits are used to pay for available services. One started minute of each audio file costs one credit. Translation is charged according to the rules displayed before processing begins.
Before processing starts, S·Pika displays the expected cost. The required credits may be reserved after you confirm processing and are deducted only after successful completion. If a technical error prevents successful completion and no result is provided, the reserve is returned.
Purchased credits do not expire while your account remains active. Free, trial and bonus credits have no monetary value, are non-transferable and are not refundable. Unused purchased credits may be refunded when an account is permanently deleted, subject to the Refund Policy.
6. Processing and storage
S·Pika may use specialised third-party technical providers to process materials. Uploaded source files are deleted after processing is completed. Transcription results are stored for up to 7 days; translation results are stored for up to 24 hours.
7. Suspension and termination
We may investigate suspected breaches of these Terms. Where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, comply with law, investigate misuse or prevent harm, we may refuse a free offer, remove free or promotional credits obtained in breach of these Terms, suspend or limit access to new processing, or terminate an account. We will give notice where reasonably practicable and where doing so does not compromise security or an investigation.
Any action under this section is proportionate to the circumstances and does not limit rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law or the Refund Policy. You may request account deletion in accordance with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, S·Pika is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of automated results. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Changes and applicable law
We may update these Terms when the Service or applicable law changes. The updated version will be published on this page. These Terms are governed by the laws of Serbia, without limiting mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply to you.
